Career and Professional Study Loans

A Professional and Career Development Loan could help you pay for learning that will improve your job skills or career prospects. It's a bank loan so you have to pay it back once you leave your course, but you don't pay interest for the period when you are in learning. For an information pack and to find out more please visit the Directgov website.

Loans for Professional Trainees

Many banks offer loans to students studying for a professional qualification such as medicine, dentistry, law, pharmacy and veterinary medicine. These loans are designed to help students who are in training for longer than the typical student. You can get loans for up to £25,000, either as a lump sum or in instalments, and loans are repayable after you complete your course.
