Postgraduate: Clinical Education
Programme Overview
This programme acknowledges the role of all clinicians as educators, collaborators, partners and leaders and aims to develop clinical education practice by focusing on quality improvement. The programme will enable participants' clinical education practice to be informed by the theories and concepts that are at the forefront of clinical education as an academic discipline and area of professional practice.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education (60 Masters credits) consists of two 30 credit modules:
- Application of Knowledge and Theory to Clinical Education Practice (Module One)
- Methodologies in Clinical Education (Module Two)
The Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education (120 Masters credits) consists of four 30 credit modules:
- Application of Knowledge and Theory to Clinical Education Practice (Module One)
- Methodologies in Clinical Education (Module Two)
- Scholarship and Leadership in Clinical Education (Module Three)
- Clinical Education for Innovation and Quality Improvement (Module Four)
The Masters in Clinical Education (180 Masters credits) comprises the four modules for the Postgraduate Diploma plus the Dissertation module (60 Masters credits).
